About EGATEC 2011
The European Gas Technology Conference 2011 (EGATEC 2011) takes
place in Copenhagen, Denmark on 12-13 May, 2011.
(The conference is the successor of the earlier European Forum Gas organised
annually since 2003 under the auspices of Marcogaz.)
Egatec 2011 is organised under the joint auspices of Marcogaz and GERG together representing the complete technological arm of the European gas industry.
EGATEC 2011 is hosted by the Danish Gas Technology Centre (DGC).
Who should participate?
Conference delegates will be gas technology executives, gas engineers and researchers as well as market professionals who understand that innovation and technology is essential for the future of energy gases and natural gas in particular. Delegates will come from European energy industry, research organisations, academia, government, etc.
Who is organising EGATEC 2011?
EGATEC 2011 is a joint effort of:
Marcogaz (www.marcogaz.org) is the representative body of the European Natural Gas Industry on all technical issues. Marcogaz has 23 members from 21 European countries.
GERG (www.gerg.eu), the European Gas Research Group, is the joint R&D organisation for the European gas industry. GERG has 22 members from 12 European countries.
DGC (www.dgc.dk), is the Danish consulting and R&D organisation within gas, owned by the Danish gas companies.
Organisation
Congress organisation is supervised by:
the Marcogaz Executive Board (Chairman: Carlos Villalonga, Sedigas, Spain) and
the GERG Board (Chairman: Klaus Altfeld, E.ON Ruhrgas, Germany).
The technical programme is developed by the EGATEC 2011 Technical Programme Committee (TPC) with the following members:
